Photo A Day March 2014
I know it’s been a long time between posts and there are no legitimate excuses – time simply gets away from me!
The good news is I’m back and I’m going to try and catch up.
The other good news is I’m still capturing my daily photos on my iPhone and sharing them on Instagram.
So let’s take a look at what happened in March… yes way back in March…
The month of March was mostly quiet, we enjoyed the fabulous autumn weather; took a couple of trips over the border down into New South Wales; spent a lot of time at home – the joys of having lots of animals and responsibilities; I captured a rare self portrait session; had one on one time with each of my children; and sorted out a nasty insurance claim involving one of my cameras. Basically another adventurous month featuring pets, portraits and pieces of my life all mixed together. Wow, time flies!
If you’re wondering how I choose my photo a day images, generally speaking I try to record an image that when I look back on it I can remember exactly where I was, what I was doing and why I took it. I admit there are some days that are completely random but those are few and far between!
My goal is to continue to capture just a moment of my journey through this life each day.
If I had to pick a favourite image this month it would be the picture of my son captured on the 17th. It makes me laugh every time I look at it. He was pulling funny faces and doing a weird dance while waiting for dinner to be served – he kept me quite entertained!
Some of the hashtags I used this month were: #dowhatmakesyouhappy #selfiefun #seriousface #catewillalwaysdothingsdifferently #mykidsarestrange #jack #myboy #lilylovestolearn #lovehavingamenagerie #jessiethebird #liveinlovephotography #flowersmakemehappy
